Marissa started sleeping all night for me a couple of weeks ago.... she's such a champ at it!

At her one month well-baby exam (she was 6 wks old), she was 11 lbs 1 oz and 23" long. She's growing like a weed!

I was also able to capture some of her first real smiles....
Daddy is the one that can get her to smile.

Luke loves to hold his baby sister. She seems to love it to. He just pats her and tells her "Hi baby girl".... wonder where he heres that all the time?!?

Update

I'm trying to figure out when to do these blog updates - I have to be better about it! I thought naptime would be a good time, but go figure - these kiddos don't want to take a nap at the same time! So, I thought maybe after Luke went to bed would be a good time - but Marissa is not wanting to cooperate. I am going to try go figure it out though so that I can post updates of what is going on.

Sunday was my diaper shower at church and it was a real blessing. My mom and Scott's mom both were able to come over for it. Yesterday, my Aunt Marsha brought us lunch. She also brought my grandpa along so he could visit. It was yummy, and of course, it was great to see them. Today, Luke & I ran the length of our yard a gazillion times! It was such a nice day out. It really wore him out and made for an early bedtime tonight!

We've been enjoying meals for the past week or so from our Sunday School classmates - it's been so nice to not worry about what's for supper!
